In addition to treating sick pets, our hospital strives to improve and maintain your pets current health. In order to do this, we implement preventive health measures and screenings. For example, we have a Senior Pet Health Screening Program in place that is used to detect problems such as diabetes, kidney and liver disease, dental disease, hypothyroidism and cancer before symptoms arise. Our Preventative Health Screenings include: physical exams, dental exams, blood chemistry analysis, complete blood counts (CBC), urinalysis, x-rays, and electrocardiograms. Keeping your pets vaccinations up-to-date, along with wellness checks can ensure your pets general health for years to come. | |
